In consolation games:
Esperanza 11, Riverside Poly 1--Luke Sargent and Patrick Rooney homered for the Aztecs (4-1), who took third place in the tournament. Pitcher A.J. Shappi gave up one run and four hits in six innings.
Mission Viejo 11, Valencia 0--Garrett Murdy went the distance for the Diablos (3-2), allowing just one hit in seven innings, and Billy Hart doubled and homered.
In the Loara tournament:
Servite 9, Dana Hills 8--Catcher Pete Eastman was two for three with a home run, two runs and four RBIs for Servite (2-2). Relief pitcher Justin Driver got the win.
