New York-based JetBlue Airways is expected to announce today that it will begin service between Long Beach and New York in August. JetBlue, a low-fare carrier formed in 1999, will offer two daily flights between Long Beach Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport, where it is based. JetBlue’s one-way cross-country fares start as low as $129.
The airline has 38 daily flights to 14 cities from Kennedy, primarily on the East Coast.
