Man Gets 4 Years for Assault on Teenage Girl

Nathaniel Sanchez, 19, of Van Nuys was sentenced Thursday to four years in state prison for assault with intent to rape a 16-year-old Birmingham High School student who passed out drunk at a party.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Hoff gave Sanchez the maximum penalty under the plea agreement.
Sanchez’s brother, Jose Sanchez, 17, and Alejandro Zamora, 18, pleaded no contest to rape of an unconscious person in August and will be sentenced Nov. 27, Deputy Dist. Atty. Eduards R. Abele said.
