Westchester 41, Chatsworth 10--Sam Calhoun, playing quarterback in place of injured starter Brian Johnson, ran for three touchdowns and threw for another as the fourth-seeded Comets (9-1) built a 27-0 halftime lead and coasted to the victory.
Mike Sanford caught a 69-yard touchdown pass from Calhoun in the first quarter and returned a fumble 90 yards for a score in the third. Kenny Franklin had an eight-yard touchdown run to open the scoring for Westchester.
The lone touchdown for Chatsworth (6-4) came on a 78-yard fumble return by D.J. Amado in the fourth quarter.
The Chancellors’ bad night was further marred when receiver Juan Carlos Rodriguez was taken to UCLA Medical Center in Westwood after he vomited and briefly lost consciousness along the sideline.
