Covina Charter Oak 10, Bell Gardens 0--Charter Oak eliminated Bell Gardens from the Division VII playoffs for the third time since 1998 in front of 2,000 at Charter Oak.
The Chargers (9-2) and the Miramonte League champions, used two long drives to win the game. Running back Keith Harris scored from one yard out with 2:23 left to play in the game, capping a 15-play, 58-yard drive that consumed nearly seven minutes.
The Chargers opened the scoring with 2:50 remaining in the first half when Jonathan Granger’s 18-yard field goal capped a 14-play drive that began at their 12 yard line.

Charter Oak ran 30 first-half plays, gaining 88 yards with Harris carrying 16 times for 63 yards. Bell Gardens (6-4-1) managed only 28 yards in 25 first-half plays.
