Theme Parks Reduce Annual Pass Prices

Walt Disney Co. and Vivendi Universal theme parks are selling tickets at a discount to lure customers after attendance fell in the wake of the terrorist attacks. The price of an annual pass for access to Disneyland and California Adventure has been cut by $50 to $99 for Southland residents and $149 for others, a spokesman said. The pass excludes Saturdays, summer and holidays.
Vivendi’s Universal Studios Hollywood is offering a free yearly admission pass with the purchase of a full-price ticket through Dec. 24. The company said it’s the first time it has had such a promotion.
