Suspicious Parcel Causes Post Office Evacuation

Law enforcement officials are searching for a man who left a package covered with threatening messages at a post office Monday, causing a seven-hour evacuation of the building on 20th Street West.
The shoebox-sized parcel was left at 4:30 a.m. in a 24-hour lobby. On the package were drawings of two buildings exploding and a poem that read: “Roses are red, violets are blue/soon God’s wrath/will be upon you.”
It contained laundry detergent.
The suspect, videotaped by a surveillance camera, was described as white, 5-foot-8 and medium build, and wearing jeans, a red baseball cap and a white hooded sweatshirt.
