Masked Bank Robbers Make Clean Getaway

Two men wearing ski masks forced customers and employees to the floor of a Huntington Beach bank Saturday afternoon before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. No one was injured.
The robbers ran into the Bank of America branch on Edinger Street about 12:40 p.m., ordered everyone to the floor, then took cash from the tellers’ drawers, said Police Sgt. R.K. Miller.
Witnesses said they saw no weapons, police said.
The bandits escaped in a waiting car, which was abandoned a short distance from the bank, Miller said. That car had been reported stolen in Los Angeles.
