Fragments Found Boost Missile Theory in Crash

Fragments resembling a Ukrainian missile’s payload were found in the wreckage of a Siberian Airlines plane that exploded over the Black Sea last week, a Russian investigator said. Ukraine has denied that its forces shot down the plane.
Yevgeny Shaposhnikov, a member of a Russian commission investigating the plane disaster, said the discovery of what appeared to be missile remnants supports the theory that the Russian Tu-154 was brought down accidentally during a Ukrainian military exercise.
The plane was traveling from Tel Aviv to Novosibirsk in Siberia. All 78 people aboard perished.
