Angel Manager to be Honored

Angel Manager Mike Scioscia will be honored as the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation’s 2001 Sportsman of the Year at the group’s banquet on Nov. 6 at the Sun Theatre in Anaheim.

The banquet, which begins at 7 p.m., is open to the public and net proceeds from ticket sales and auctions will benefit youth sports programs. Individual tickets are $125.
