The South Gate football team has been forced to forfeit three games--two of them victories--for using an ineligible player.
The decision was made Tuesday by the City Section’s rules committee.
The player took part in the Rams’ 35-12 victory over Lincoln on Sept. 7 and in their 7-0 victory over Locke on Sept. 21. The third game was a 45-21 loss to Fremont on Sept. 28.
South Gate is now 1-4, Lincoln is 2-3 and Locke is 3-2.
