Angels Going Retro With Return of Halo

The halo is back.
After five seasons wearing a Disney-designed cap featuring an angel’s wing, the Angels have restored the halo that graced their caps in one form or another from their inception in 1961 through 1996.
The primary cap color next season becomes red, not blue, with a navy blue outline around a red A, topped by a silver halo. The uniforms feature red letters outlined in navy blue.
The pinstripe uniforms and oft-derided shade of periwinkle blue, introduced along with the angel wing in 1997, also are gone.
