Victim of Shooting in Critical Condition

A 29-year-old Los Angeles man was in critical condition after being shot early Sunday, a Los Angeles police officer said.
Donald Frank was the victim of an attempted murder about 3:40 a.m. in the 5400 block of Wilshire Boulevard by unknown people, Officer Don Cox said.
Paramedics took Frank to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition late Sunday.
LAPD detectives said they did not know a motive for the shooting; it remains under investigation.
