Driver Allegedly Fleeing Police Charged in Death

A man who allegedly hit and killed a 10-year-old boy while fleeing from police in a stolen car was charged Friday with second-degree murder, authorities said.
Walter Larry Lego Jr., 21, will return to court in May to answer to that charge as well as evading police and hit and run. Lego is being held in lieu of $1.1-million bail, according to the district attorney’s office.
Lego plowed into Brian Rosero, who had chased a basketball into the street as Lego was fleeing police Tuesday morning.
