Hearing on Proposal to Donate Land to Public

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District will hold a public hearing Sept. 5 to review plans by a local developer to donate vacant land to the district and apply for a state tax credit.
Poe Investment Co. intends to donate 148 hillside acres if it receives the tax break. The 6 p.m. public hearing will be held at the Community Center, 1692 Sycamore Drive.
