Woman Killed After Car Plunges Over Cliff

A driver was killed and her male passenger injured after their car plunged 100 feet over a cliff on Box Canyon Road and landed on its roof, authorities said Saturday.
Shirley Coleman, 72, of Simi Valley died at the scene of the Friday afternoon crash, said Mike Feiler, an investigator for the county medical examiner.
Authorities said Coleman’s passenger, Thomas Robinson, 80, also of Simi Valley, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Simi Valley Hospital.
Coleman may have been blinded by sunlight, police said.
