Police Detain Man at Britney Spears’ Home

Police detained a man Tuesday after he allegedly set up an encampment in the carport of teen pop star Britney Spears’ home, an LAPD spokesman said.
Officer Jack Richter said police got a call about 11 a.m. that Spears’ private security detail was holding a man at the Hollywood Hills house. “Ms. Spears was not at home, and the man is going to be evaluated at a local hospital,” he said. The man’s identity was not released, because officials said no arrest had been made and Spears’ security service declined to press charges. Richter said the man had been caught at the home at least once before.
