Review Aims to Answer Questions on Columbine

The state’s top prosecutor and a district attorney said they hope to answer lingering questions about the Columbine High School rampage with a thorough public review of police work and records.
Atty. Gen. Ken Salazar and Jefferson County Dist. Atty. Dave Thomas said they will conduct separate reviews of an independent investigation into a student’s death during the April 20, 1999, massacre.
They will try to determine if the investigation by El Paso County Sheriff John Anderson into allegations that an officer responding to the shootings accidentally shot 15-year-old Daniel Rohrbough is thorough and complete.
