London’s ‘Cats’ Headed for Heavenside Layer

The London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Starlight Express” closed last week and now comes word that his “Cats” will follow suit on May 11. The musical will be marking its 21st birthday on that date and will have run nearly 9,000 performances. The Broadway run ended in September 2000.
