Orange Coast College Names Interim President

Retired community college administrator Gene J. Farrell has been named interim president of Orange Coast College.
Farrell takes over from Margaret A. Gratton, who recently retired after six years running OCC.
Farrell, 65, served for 31 years as an instructor and administrator in the Coast Community College District, which includes Orange Coast, Golden West and Coastline colleges. He retired in 2000 after 12 years as the district’s vice chancellor of business affairs.
