2 Deny U.S. Charges of Immigrant Smuggling

Two Taiwanese nationals accused of illegally smuggling 10 Chinese men into Orange County last month pleaded not guilty to federal charges Monday, authorities said.
Jin Yinn Wang, 48, and Jin Long Guo, 45, are charged with illegally smuggling immigrants into the United States.
Prosecutors allege that the two fishing boat crew members ordered the 10 men to swim ashore near Newport Beach. Wang, the boat’s captain, has told investigators that the 10 men hijacked the boat and steered the vessel to California.
