Planning Commission Approves Used-Car Lot

A used-car lot will open at the southwest corner of Oxnard Boulevard and 8th Street in Oxnard’s Five Points.
Although several used-car lots are located nearby, the Oxnard Planning Commission unanimously approved the request by Durazo’s Car Sales because it would improve a blighted corner in a key commercial area, commission members said.
Owner Isidro Durazo plans to remodel a 993-square-foot building, plant trees and shrubs along Oxnard Boulevard and put in a new sidewalk along 8th Street.
