Student, 17, Shot in School Drive-By Attack

A 17-year-old male student was seriously wounded during a drive-by attack Tuesday in a high school parking lot, police said.
The unidentified youth was walking in the parking lot at 1151 Fairplex Drive about 4:30 p.m. when gunfire erupted from a vehicle carrying two people.
The youth was shot in the chest and lower body and was airlifted to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, Andrew said.
