Police on Thursday released a composite drawing of a man whose charred remains were found Sept. 29 in a vacant home destroyed by arson.
After firefighters put out the blaze at 329 E. Louise St., they found the body of a man believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, said Long Beach Police Officer Jana Blair.
“The coroner has determined that the victim suffered blunt force trauma to his head prior to the residence being set on fire,” Blair said. It’s possible the man was killed elsewhere and his body was dumped at the house, she said.
Anyone with information on the case can call Long Beach Dets. Steve Smith, Hector Nieves or Scott Lasch at (562) 570-7244.
