The Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to ban advertisements on large, stationary vehicles parked on city streets.
“We have these four-wheeled ... metal vehicles placed there with signs on them, and they’re getting away with it,” said Councilman Hal Bernson.
“That’s why we’re asking for new section to the code.”
The ban applies only to vehicles that do not have a motor.
