No-Contest Plea in Standoff at CBS Studios

A gunman who stormed CBS Television City and shot himself during a four-hour standoff in May pleaded no contest Wednesday to false imprisonment.
Raymond Derouen Jr., 37, was partially paralyzed, but no one else was injured in the May 28 ordeal.
The standoff led to the evacuation of the 24-acre studio complex in the 7800 block of Beverly Boulevard in the Fairfax district.
Derouen is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 20.
