Update--This is a rematch of Game 1, which Schmidt won and Washburn lost in the Giants’ 4-3 victory. Washburn gave up home runs to Barry Bonds, Reggie Sanders and J.T. Snow, the second time in four playoff starts that he has given up three home runs. In his 32 starts during the regular season, he never gave up three home runs.
