Annual Carnival Opens Today at Fairgrounds

The annual Simi Valley Days carnival opens at 5 p.m. today and runs through Sunday.
The carnival, at the fairgrounds on 1st Street north of California 118, will operate from 5 to 10 p.m. today and Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Today and Thursday are wristband nights, with unlimited rides for $12.
A parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Erringer Road, heading west on Los Angeles Avenue to Madera Road.
