West Bank, Gaza Strip Clashes Leave 9 Dead

Five Palestinians, including a 16-year-old boy, were killed during clashes with Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip, and Israeli media reported that two Israelis were shot to death and seven more were wounded near the settlement of Bekaot in the northern West Bank. The two gunmen, apparently Palestinians, were then shot dead by troops.
The Gaza dead included a member of the Islamic militant group Hamas, a policeman, a security guard, a teenager and a fifth man who died at a hospital, witnesses said.
