MTV makes movie picks

Nominees for the 2003 MTV movie awards include “8 Mile,” “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers,” “Spider-Man,” “Barbershop” and “The Ring” for best movie; for best male performance: Eminem, Vin Diesel, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Viggo Mortensen; for best female performance: Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst, Halle Berry, Kate Hudson and Queen Latifah.
The awards are scheduled for June 5 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
