Wal-Mart CEO Pay More Than Doubled

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Chief Executive Lee Scott earned $18.28 million in 2002, including $13.1 million in restricted stock, more than doubling his 2001 pay, the No. 1 retailer reported in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Scott also received a salary of $1.14 million and a $3.16-million bonus in 2002, up 77% from his bonus in 2001, when his total compensation was reported at $8.66 million.
