Palestinian Man Slain; Israel Holds 5 Militants

Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian man in a West Bank city under curfew and arrested five militants planning suicide attacks during Passover, an army spokesman said. Palestinian witnesses and medics said Yusuf Yahya, 21, was shot several times.
The spokesman said Yahya was shot after he threw two Molotov cocktails at patrolling troops and was preparing to ignite a third. The army said it imposed the curfew while searching for a suicide bombing cell. It arrested four members of Islamic Jihad and one from Hamas.
