30-Year Mortgage Rates Edge Lower

Rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages fell for a second straight week to 5.79%, mortgage company Freddie Mac reported.
For 15-year fixed-rate mortgages, rates remained unchanged at 5.12%.
Rates for one-year adjustable mortgages also were unchanged at 3.79%.
Each loan type carried an average fee of 0.6 point this week.
