From Staff and Wire Reports
Harry M. Dailey, the bass guitarist who played and sang with Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, died April 18 at his home in Falls Church, Va. He was 51. The cause of death was apparently a heart attack.
Dailey worked with Buffett from 1975 to 1982 and was co-author of one of his hits, “Volcano.” He played with Buffett on recordings of that song as well as “Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes” and other tunes.
After leaving Buffett, he worked in other bands in Florida and New England.
