Law enforcement officers sealed off a Huntington Park neighborhood Thursday after masked gunmen who had robbed a bank were seen fleeing the area on foot, authorities said.
Three masked gunmen held up the Cal West Bank in the 3500 block of East Florence Avenue at 10:15 a.m., then at least two suspects ran into the neighborhood south of the bank, an FBI spokeswoman said. “They committed a takeover-style robbery and fled on foot with the cash,” said Laura Bosley of the FBI.
Huntington Park police officers went door to door looking for the suspects, Bosley said.
