Four Pepperdine players average double figures in points but guard Alex Acker leads the team in rebounding at 4.7 a game and Wave opponents are shooting 48%. Lipscomb plays a fast-paced style that could benefit Pepperdine. The Bisons give up 85.8 points a game. Pepperdine won last season’s meeting, 89-73, at Malibu.
