Soldier at Nuclear Site Kills 4 Comrades, Self

A soldier on duty at a Russian nuclear forces site in Siberia strode into a fuel depot guardroom and shot four comrades dead before killing himself, the Defense Ministry said. Other soldiers escaped by hiding in a loft, a ministry spokesman said.
Random killings by despairing soldiers are common in Russia’s underfunded armed forces, where bullying is rife, but such incidents have been rare at nuclear sites.
