Strong Winds Shut Bridge, Cause Pileup

Winds gusting to 59 mph closed the bridge linking Michigan and its Upper Peninsula for several hours, and at least 30 cars piled up nearby in whiteout conditions, state police say.
Several people were taken to a hospital, but none of the injuries was life-threatening, a police official said.
