A Perris man shot and killed himself Tuesday night after he allegedly shot his girlfriend to death that morning, police said.
Steven Self, 35, was wanted in the fatal shooting of Tracy Cordray at her friend’s home in Good Hope, said Sgt. John Schultz of the Riverside County Sheriff Department’s central homicide unit. Cordray, 39, of Perris, was pronounced dead at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
Shortly after 11 p.m., police heard a gunshot from inside an abandoned house in the 22700 block of Lukens Lane in Perris. They found Self lying on the couch holding a .45-caliber handgun, Schultz said. Self was pronounced dead at the scene.
