2008: Condoleezza Rice
George W. Bush will win the presidency in 2004. Republican efforts should be concentrated on winning in 2008. I would propose that Bush recruit national security advisor Condoleezza Rice as vice president in 2004. Dick Cheney does not need the vice president title to provide support to the administration in the interim.
Four years’ grooming as vice president, in addition to her other experiences in office, would make her an unbeatable candidate for president in 2008. A squeaky-clean past, genius-level mentality, demonstrated administrative skills, articulate, female, black ... truly a dream candidate. Comparatively, Hillary Clinton fades into irrelevance.
