Police Increase Auto Theft Deterrent Efforts

Hoping to reduce auto theft in the San Fernando Valley, police will be etching vehicle identification numbers into truck and car windows in Winnetka today.
For $15, police will be available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the state Department of Motor Vehicles office at 20725 Sherman Way.
