2 Men Robbed in Nightclub Parking Lot

Two men were robbed at gunpoint early Saturday in the parking lot of a popular downtown Ventura nightclub, authorities said.
Jose Martinez and Arturo Martinez, both 27, had just left Bombay Bar and Grill on South California Street about 1:45 a.m. Two men ran to the victims and placed them in chokeholds, police said. A third allegedly pointed a handgun at the pair.
The robbers stole wallets and other items before fleeing in a light blue Honda Accord, seen headed east on Thompson Boulevard.
