Gunman Attacks School, Killing Teacher, Students

A man opened fire randomly with an automatic rifle at a mosque school in southern Yemen, killing a teacher and seven teenage students, police said. The motive was not immediately known. Police said they were holding Mohsen Munsir, a retired soldier in his 40s, in the southern province of Lahej, about 200 miles south of the capital, Sana.
