Bill Manoff’s romantic comedy “The Owl and the Pussycat,” in which an author and a prostitute move in ever-tighter concentric circles, left its mark on Broadway and in Hollywood, courtesy of the screen adaptation starring Barbra Streisand and George Segal. Starting this weekend, it lands in Oxnard, in a production by the Elite Theater Company.
