Skinny: Connecticut got a big game out of center Emeka Okafor (20 points, seven blocks) in the first round. The Huskies limited Brigham Young to 53 points and 31.3% shooting. But Connecticut scored only 58 points. The Cardinal beat San Diego, 77-69, but had to close with a 14-3 run. Josh Childress accounted for 25 of the Cardinal’s 47 points in the second half through baskets and assists.
