Thank you for “Historic Steamer Wears Out Welcome” (March 23). Why not tow the Catalina steamer to Santa Catalina Island and sink it somewhere outside of Avalon? It would then be viewed by visitors via glass-bottom boat, provide recreation for scuba divers and provide a haven for sea life. It would be where it is loved and appreciated and again of service to Avalon.
