A fun bus ride to Tinsel Town

I really enjoyed James Verini’s tour bus piece (“Need a Lift? Go See Stars,” May 22). He drove that story as happily as Brian Donnelly must’ve driven the bus. It was a delight to read -- cheerful and sunny. (One thing I must say, though: If the passengers were from Idaho, Miami and Arizona, then no one was from the Midwest. Illinois, Missouri -- where I’m from -- that’s the Midwest.)
I also enjoyed reading about a good person named Donnelly.
