Update -- The Clippers’ losing streak reached 10 games with Friday’s 114-110 overtime defeat at Chicago, but they are barely past halfway to the franchise record. Twice they’ve lost 19 consecutive games, most recently in the 1988-89 season, when they ended the drought with a three-point victory and then lost 13 in a row. Losing streaks, of course, are nothing new to the Clippers; in their five seasons in Staples Center, they’ve had seven of eight games or longer.
