Spill Closes Portion of Bay Indefinitely

A portion of Newport Bay has been closed indefinitely by a sewage spill Monday, according to the Orange County Environmental Health Division.
The water between Harbor Tower Marina near West Coast Highway and Newport Boulevard, down to Riverside Avenue, is closed to swimming and diving until further notice.
