Five School Buses Crash, Injuring 37 Kids, Adults

Five school buses carrying 170 eighth-graders on a field trip crashed into each other on a highway onramp, and 37 children and adults suffered minor injuries, authorities said.
The accident occurred when the first bus in the group slowed as it merged into traffic, police spokesman Joe Cecile said.
The students were on their way from Auburn to downtown Syracuse to see a play.
